Cosmic principles made accessible through the Gods of Egypt.
“When we want to express our knowledge, we must be able to translate or reduce it to concrete terms, accessible to our senses and rational through the cerebral function. “Sympathetic’’ experience always remains uncertain and open to discussion as long as it is not “objectified” experience.” R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz Esoterism and Symbol.
We see the faces of different Gods and Goddesses depicted throughout the centuries, far back to the oldest statues and relics that have been discovered.
It has created countless wars and arguments through the religious lense, and we have written off entire cultures elaborate depictions of ‘Gods” as merely superstitions of primitive civilisations.
Perhaps this is because it is too much for our current level of human consciousness to wrap our minds around many animal headed Gods being a possibility and existing on another plane of reality. Our world of roads, cars, brick houses and pavements doesn’t exactly leave room for us to access the much larger, stranger and more mysterious nature of the Universe that we inhabit.
Whether we want to accept it or not, our physical reality is massively shaped and influenced by vast unseen forces, that exist throughout as well as far beyond the space we are in. Just because our current version of human is rejecting our place in the cosmos and rejecting universal law, it doesn’t mean that it is not the undercurrent rippling through our entire reality, governing all of creation.
The stories or myths of The Neteru of Egypt and the qualities and functions each hold within them were a way that the Ancient Egyptians were able to grasp these deeper cosmic forces, universal truths and see how divine principles were weaving their way through their own lives.
Our word nature, actually comes from the word "Neter" and if we take the Gods of Egypt through this lense, we can understand them as the principles of nature rather than potentially tainting them with someones perception the title of God, which may invoke resistance or conditioned bias.
In order to make the unseen influences of the universe seen, they need to be formed into something that the human mind can grasp. From one perspective Egyptian Gods/The Neteru/The Egyptian Pantheon act as a bridge, a way to bring these unknowable cosmic energies into something the human mind can begin to understand. However, further to this they are very much alive and each performs a specific function within the Universe and operate as a certain energetic field. Their individual and combined influences exist both in our reality and realms far beyond.
Whether we realise it or not, the Egyptian Neteru flow through us all, they are archetypes of creation. They are the embodiment of divine principles of nature. They have worn many faces over the course of histories and cultures, but essentially each God represents, teaches and allows us to understand unique cosmic principles. These archetypes are a way of making the invisible, visible and accessible for humans to work with.
If we learn, the principles associated with each Neter we can see who is predominantly living through us at any given time in our lives. This knowledge can help us realise which cosmic energies are flowing through us, what we are being called to lean into or perhaps highlight where we may be living out of balance.
They give us a way to understand a deeper meaning of life, one which the majority of humans are largely rejecting. We have been taught since birth that we are alone in space, floating on this giant rock ball. The options in the Western world are largely divided by a belief in the one God, or when you die you’re dead and what comes between birth and death has no consequence beyond the grave.
Life has the potential to be devoid of meaning, we are taught to avoid suffering at all costs, numb yourself, distract yourself, force yourself to be positive….. essentially don’t walk through your darkness there is nothing there for you. Even if our current level of humanity is starting to understand larger cosmic principles, it is through the lense of physics, which is largely inaccessible to the majority of the population.
This is where the revival of our connection ancient energies and Egyptian Gods holds a key to teaching us about life, through their myths and stories, and through the natural forces that each Neter embodies. These Gods are very real and alive. They are the faces of invisible energies which flow throughout the cosmos bringing them into a tangible point where we can start to decode, understand and work with.
Knowing the archetype of each Neter, the energies and mythologies associated with each one, can help us understand which cosmic principles are governing us at any given time, and can shed light on how to move through certain experiences.
When we understand the battle of Horus, against his uncle Set, the archetypal struggle between the light and the shadow. Or the alchemical transformation Osiris enters into in order to be reborn, we can start to find real meaning in our own lives and the experiences that we move through. Death, rebirth, shadow, light, wholeness, balance, alchemy connect to very important rites of passage and initiations in life, which make themselves known to us through the Neteru. We can at the very least take comfort and wisdom from these stories. Yet if we choose to go further we can see which cosmic principles are weaving through our lives at each stage, and from there, start to decode and move through the processes that we are in with heightened awareness. Rather than pushing against life, and trying to force ourselves out of a stage that may seem undesirable, through the Neteru we can begin to understand why we are moving through it and how it is enriching our soul.
The souls evolution and the souls path on this plane of existence starts to become apparent. Connecting with the mysteries, and entering into communication with these streams of divine natural energy can allow us to start to understand why we came.
You can visit the Neteru at any given time, they are our family. Whether you choose to do this through reading about them or connecting to them in the astral realm they are very much available to us and each one is able to assist with accessing different cosmic forces.
